Understanding changes Everything —

ScatterBrain isn’t just about ADHD or a diagnosis

It’s about understanding yourself.
Understanding your child.
Understanding the people you love.

When we understand ourselves, shame loses its grip.

When we understand our children, their behavior starts to make sense.

And when we understand each other, connection grows.

  💛 One person.
 💛 One family.
💛 One brave heart at a time.

Some people come looking for answers.
Some come looking for language.
Some come looking for a place to breathe.

You don't have to figure it all out today —

just start where you are

Hi I'm Lindsey!

First of all- I'm really glad you're here.

If you've scrolled this far, there's a good chance you're looking for answers, support, or maybe just a place where you can finally exhale for a minute.

& truthfully... that's exactly why ScatterBrain exists.

For most of my life, I didn't know I had ADHD. I just knew I never felt quite “right.” It seemed like everyone else had gotten the instructions to... well, everything... while I was piecing it together as I went.

Fast forward a decade or so, and I found myself as an overstimulated mom raising kids with brains, big feelings, and struggles that looked a whole lot more familiar than I expected.

So I started trying to understand them.

Funny thing is... I kept finding myself in the process.

The more I understood what was happening underneath their behavior, the more questions I answered about myself too. Things I'd spent years treating like character flaws started looking a lot more like things I simply hadn't understood yet.

And honestly? That's what ScatterBrain grew out of.

The understanding I wish I'd had sooner. The tools I needed but didn't always have. And a place for the kid who feels different, the parent trying desperately to get it right, and the grown-up wondering when life got so heavy—or where the heck they went somewhere along the way.

I can't go back and give younger Lindsey all the understanding she deserved. But I can help create a place where maybe the rest of us don't have to wait so long to find it.

So whether you're here for yourself, your child, or someone you love... welcome. I'm really glad you found your way here.

What do you need today?

You don't need a perfect plan-
just start with the moment you're in.

A little less noise. A little more breathing room.

For the days when everything feels loud, urgent, or like one more thing might actually send you over the edge.

You may not be as lost as you think.

Sometimes nothing is obviously “wrong”... you just don’t quite recognize yourself anymore. Start here if life has gotten so heavy that you’ve lost track of where you went.

Behavior usually makes more sense when we understand what’s underneath it.

No perfect parenting required. Just curiosity, connection, and a place to begin.

You know what you mean. Your brain just can’t always find the words when you need them.

For school meetings, repair, boundaries, hard conversations, advocacy, and the moments where your brain goes completely blank.

Okay. Something happened.

Maybe you yelled, reacted, froze, said the wrong thing, or you’re replaying the whole moment for the 47th time. You don’t have to pretend it didn’t happen — and you don’t have to become the mistake either.

You know what needs done. Your brain is simply... not cooperating.

This is for starting, decision fatigue, perfectionism, task paralysis, and the days when even the “easy” thing feels weirdly impossible.
